And this is why I still use regular shops for expensive electronics.
Except if it a very good deal online, but then where I live I can check the package for damages before I sign to take it. What kind of ass backwards system is that to just plop a fuckin’ package without giving it personally to the person that has ordered it.

Where was that ordered from? Newegg and Amazon always put items in a larger box with some sort of protection. I would of refused the package and sent it back.

That’s crazy, what kind of courier service are they using?!
I’ve had various PC components shipped to myself from ebay in USA and China to the other side of the world and, at worst, I’ve gotten some smashed corners on the outer box .
I’m not saying it can’t happen, but those guys went really cheap on protection. That doesn’t even seem to be a standard USPS (or similar) flat rate box. Which are dirt cheap (for a $500 card).

OH GOD NO.
I have a bunch of upgrades coming in slowly over the next few weeks (i5 6600K, mobo, ram, liquid cooler, case) and I plan on getting a 1070 early next year (that MSI Sea Hawk looks pretty neat).
I’d die if this happened.
